Comfort Room
La Zoologie Hotel offers 3 types of Comfort bedrooms with different designs depending on the wing they are located in.
Their average size is 25m2 and they are equipped with a Queen Size bed (160 x 200) or a King Size bed (180 x 200). They can be made in Twin bedrooms on request.
**Comfort rooms of the Zoology Wing (freestanding bathtub + separated bathroom). Located in the historical wing of the building, with high French windows and indoor wooden shutters, they offer a splendid view on the public place Cours de la Marne. Typical Bordeaux old stones and clay walls, curtains representing the animal kingdom, bathrooms with Italian showers…The design of the rooms is sober and natural. For even more convenience, in every Comfort room of the Zoology Wing is a freestanding bathtub.
**Comfort rooms of the Geology Wing with a view on the hotel inner garden, offer a change of scenery. Wall colours inspired by Le Corbusier’s pallet, ceilings in raw concrete, floors and bathrooms made of clay.With curtains in African wax fabric, the rooms give an African vibe. All of them are equipped with a shower, and their large bay windows open onto a 7m2 private balcony, full West exposure.
**The Comfort room of the Botanical Wing has a view on a pedestrian path “la sente” and on the former building Santé Navale, where doctors for la Royale (French Marines) used to be trained. The room is more spacious (28 m²), offers wonderfully high ceilings and is emphasized by forest bamboo floors. True inspiration to dreaming and travelling, one of the walls is magnified by an Ananbo panaromic (made in Bordeaux) referring to the enchanting forest along the Orinoco River bank. It is equipped with a Queen Size bed (160 x 200) and a shower.
